Eric, glad your ok.

Terry, sounds like you had some good flights. Good job

Did anybody go XC? Any flight reports for anybody else that went? (Eric S., Mike B. or chicken hawk). Did anyone get a few photos to share?

Overall, sounded like some good times.

thanks

Eric Smith & I got into Alamogordo thur nite, about a five hr. drive from Tucson. We meet Preston & Davis at the spacious LZ Fri. morning for a briefing of the site. Eric was there to sponsor we three H-2 sense the site was rated for H-3's. I got in two 25min. flites. Davis got several long flites & was able to land at George & Valma's house were the evening party was held. Great launch ramp & place to go XC. Whit an 8 to 1 from launch to LZ, if your not getting up you best be B-lining it for the LZ.

Much thanks to a great bunch of folks for their hospitality & Fric for sponsoring us.

There's no good bailout anymore. Things have changed.
With an LZ that far away though, they desperately need one.
Even if they were to make a 50 ft. wide clearing through the mesquite from the road to the LZ would be a lot better than nothing at all. But having one on the east side of the road is what's really needed.
