New Website

You may have gotten an email from SAHGA Administrator earlier today and may have been wondering what's going on. Although it was unintentional, I'm glad it went out so you now have the url to the new website (still in development).
Website: http://sahga.esy.es
Forum: http://sahga.esy.es/forum/
I'm currently testing a plug-in that will allow single sign-on between the web site and the forum. I managed to import all the users of the forum into the website so you can log in to the site using your forum password. However I haven't figure everything out yet so although you will be able to access both the website and the forum with the same credentials, the session won't be preserved when switching between the two (unless you logged in on both)
Also, the user groups (other than the default 'REGISTERED' group) weren't imported when I did the user migration so you will not have "member access" when logged in on the site. But I'm going to present this as a feature and ask you to click on one of the two options to join SAHGA, found on the home page (full membership or 30 day membership). After you fill in the form and pay (use the free "TEST" option, not the paypal or check) you will be able to see the Members Only tab.
Please browse around, just keep in mind that this is still in development.
If you would like to take a look at the back end, please let me know and I will give you admin privileges. Don't be afraid to break things, I have backups. The site is still a long way from being ready for go-live but I would appreciate any feedback, either here or directly by email. If you want to make changes to existing content or add new content, I will be jumping up and down with joy, just let me know and I will assign publishing rights to your account.
My goal is to have the site and forum fully synchronized and integrated and implement an automated way of managing SAHGA membership.
