Mustang looks acceptable this Wednesday. Tuesday might work too but I'm not entirely convinced.

I'm open to go either day (or both). Get there early on Tuesday (be ready to launch at 1 or 2 PM) for some thermaling. Or have another epic glass-off on Wednesday evening. And when I say epic I'm not thinking of this past Sunday

I'm in for today and tomorrow. I will be there a little later around noon to start the hike up. I think Brandon B. is in as well.

Awesome day! Some of us are planning to fly Mustang again tomorrow. We'll leave Tucson around noon and plan to be in the LZ by 2 PM or so.

We had to fly with our veterans today (Brandon and Jacob) ... Darn, I forgot that they were supposed to take us out for drinks tonight ...

Another great night at Mustang!

Wednesday was a little strong when we got there. Winds 11-13 with gusts to 18. We had to wait till 4:45 or so to launch when the winds got down to 10-12. I launched first and got plucked up before I had a chance to turn. Had to fly it in reverse for a little bit to get away from the terrain. The air was pretty smooth though with no problem penetrating.

John V., Aaron and Jacob joined me soon after for a flight minutes shy of 1.5 h. There was consistent lift that seemed to push me back up to 6500' no matter what I did. Great day to get some spirals and wing-overs in. Interesting wind gradient coming down for landing. 16 mph pretty much everywhere above 100' or so and almost 0 mph below 100'.

Flew Mustang again today. Beautiful conditions, lift to 6800', wind out of the west at 10-12 mph. This makes three days in a row. My volleyball friends Kimberley and Sandy hiked up with me and enjoyed the sunset.

Poor John V... My hands were freezing up there. I can only imagine what was like flying in a T-shirt. He seems fine though but the alertness of his arm hair gives it away
