Lew,
I'm interested in going but I don't know if I can pull away from work.
I'll keep an eye on the board and I will probably call you Friday morning.
Eric T,
The road to the Stones may have been improved. Last week when I landed part way over to the stones, I noticed the road had some dozer work done on the part I walked out on. But I don't know how far up the road toward launch they worked on it.

Hi, Eric
Eric Smith and I are thinking about doing Box Canyon on Friday. Any interest on that instead of the 'Stones?

HGs bailing out
It's looking southwest aloft and westsouthwest to west surface, not good conditions for the HG launch at Box, so the Erics and I are bailing out for today. Not strong enough for the 'Stones so it looks like we're out of luck.
Soaring forecast looks pretty nice, though, hope you PG guys have better luck.

Terry and I are planning to meet at 1 PM at the BOX LZ today (Friday, March 11). Andy is not sure whether he will be able to join us later. We plan to hike to the first knoll and maybe I will go to the top launch. The forecast looks good for either the first knoll West launch or the top West launch.

Report on Box flights on Friday, March 11.
It was too windy for PG at Box - and probably too SW for HG at Box- on Friday. Terry, Ed, and I hiked to the first knoll, but, the wind was gusting to 25 - and once pegged my meter at over 35 mph.
I wish I could fly this weekend, but I have other obligations.
