Box? Mustang? I'll check the forecast mid day Saturday and post any plans.

I'd like to fly somewhere, and Box and Mustang look attractive, but the forecast for the surface winds is stronger than I'd prefer and doesn't align with the forecast for the winds aloft.

I'm inclined to get out there around midday, so if you're planning to look at the forecast then, I'm assuming you're looking for an evening glass-off?

my intuition is that mustang is the place. winds aloft is predicting sw. the overcast will diminish the nw push and should keep mustang from blowing out.

i think i will spend saturday doing chores and hope for flying on sunday.
