The A was good today

I had my first flight in 2013 today. It finally came in later than I expected. I launched around 3:30. It was crossing from the right. It was pretty smooth so I figured it was safe enough to give it a try. A nice family volunteered to help me launch. It was a little light 15 or so. waited 5 min for a little stronger cycle and took it. Had to work hard to stay up for the first 10 minutes, then it picked up for the rest of the flight. Got to go over and soar toomamock hill. I havent done that for years. It was mostly smooth with a few gusty bumps coming through. Had a great landing in about a 7 mph head wind. Folded up and a 14 minute hike to my truck and called it a day!

once you have tasted flight you will forever walk the earth looking skyward for there you have been and there you long to return.

I caught the bug, I was hoping the winds were going to turn on sooner, but like Orin said. He didn't launch till 3:30 by then i had 100 fever.
