Sunday
Eric - glad to hear you took advantage of the A. An early check this evening of Sunday's weather is not looking good for paragliders - blown out again. But I'll recheck in the AM.

Forecast winds
Today looks like it will probably be blown out for paraglilders. Tomorrow could be a better day - possibly Mustang. It's worth checking in the morning.

Changed Plans
I busted a tooth today and am going to be sitting in a dentist's chair tomorrow instead of heading for Mingus. Hope the rest of the SAHGA contingent skies out. It looks like I won't be getting high unless the dentist uses nitrous oxide.

Mingus
I'm working Thursday and am planning on driving up Friday (with the bag wing and the motor) Friday morning. I'm going to stay down in Cottonwood. I believe Ross and Gunter are going to be driving up Friday afternoon and then goning on to Teluride after the fly-in. I haven't heard from anyone else so...

Chute Clinic
Jerry-
Since you won't be at the next couple of meetings, could you post any updates you have about the chute clinic on the message board?
Thanks

Forecast update
While the aviation winds aloft forecast looks fine, the FSL is predicting significantly stronger winds (e.g. 15 Kts) at 6K. Definitely not a Mustang day if they're right and probably not Box. We'll wait and see what it looks like later out the window, but right now it's a matter of whom you believe ...

Saturday Plans
I'm going out early in the AM with the motor guys but should be back before noon. I'll plan on checking the updated weather then. Depending on the forecast a glass-off at Box or Mustang might work.

Mustang
I agree with your prognostication. It's certainly worth checking the AM update to consider a glass-off. Anyone interested?

The Lemmon
1650 fpm up and 1700 fpm down at 5:00 PM. Sounds like a glassoff to me. Or it could just be springtime in southern Arizona. Anyway, much as I hate to admit it, great flight!

Virtual Flight Report
Great flight report! I think we may have found someone to compete with Eric in the flying story department. In any case this at least deserves a nomination for "Virtual Eagle of the Month." Or maybe that should be "Vicarious Eagle of the Month."

Sunday Update
The updated forecast is still showing winds about 15-20 out of the west for Sonoita tomorrow, so I think I'll sleep in and wait for another weekend.

Sunday
Eric- I'd be interested in the training hills Sunday morning (I've got to be back in Tucson early afternoon). However, at the moment both ADDS and Accuweather are showing about 15 out of the west for the morning with higher winds as the day goes on. I'll check an update this evening and post my inte...
