Fred, Ed, Wangler, Jammer, and I arrived in the LZ shortly after 1:00 p.m. and enjoyed a pleasant hike with temperatures in the mid 70’s, a nice breeze from the west, and a fair bit of cloud cover. After a bit of launch maintenance Fred launched around 4:15 p.m., went up, and stayed there. I went next, followed by Ed, and we all flew in smooth ridge (or maybe glass-off) lift for about an hour and half while the dogs watched from the top of the mountain. An absolutely beautiful sunset capped off what turned out to be a surprisingly great day at Mustang.

Self nomination for Turkey of the Month.... for choosing not to go out.

Glad you guys enjoyed some smooth air.

I did get a lot done on Saturday though.
Didn't quite hit my target for my Sun morning race. I went out too fast and didn't save enough for the finish. 1:21:10 for 10 miles. Damn- I know I can do better!
