"A" Mountain, January 9th

Eric and Rafael went to the "A" this morning. I got there just in time to see them take off. I'll let them post about their flights, but I've posted the pictures at album_cat.php?cat_id=6.

Congratulations to Rafael for his first flight at the "A"!

Thanks, Deb & Whitney for helping with my first flight off the "A". You guys are the best wire crew. Thanks, Eric, for helping pack my gear up to top of the mountain. Thanks, John, for the pics...nice to have a record of my first flight there.

The A looked good several days this week - Sat was the only time I had this week so.. we ,Rafael and I gave it a try! with some help!
The wind direction was as usual right off the point! a little crossed for the ramp-about 45, especially for your first flight. It was bearly soarable from the top- I was able to stay up for 12 minutes. A couple of 360`s- Rafael got several passes and a good approach and landing .
Glad to have another A qualified pilot!
