Nor Cal winter flying site

This is where the Chico Cloud Street Gang does the majority of winter flying.

Winds this day were 25-33 and were too much for my skills. Note the only Falcon flying made his approach in reverse with a touch down of zero.

Interestingly, there were three gliders there that had passed through the hands of Eric Smith. An XC, a U2, and my falcon. Eric, you get around.

This is a private flying site and active flyers must be members of the CSG, sign a waiver, be paid up with $20 dues and pay the owner $250 a year.

Hi, Chuck

Cool video. I especially liked that helicopter-style landing. I was wondering if he'd be able to get unhooked without a wireman. Great stuff!

Thanks for the link.

Hi Chuck,
Looks like quite a bit of wind! Seemed like several pilots were in the air at once, great place.
Thanks for sharing!

Also thanks for showing your support for the A an joining our team!
( We still need a few more team members!)
