PRA Accident

Post by Eric » Tue Feb 25, 2014 8:23 am

FYI,

Mark Knight was killed on Sunday evening Feb 23rd at PRA.
Below is a quote from the Oz report.

" Buzzing the field low to drop the tow rope after a busy day towing. Suddenly the nose went up very steeply, the plane turned left, three spirals then impact. Dragonfly hasn't been moved. Not sure if linkage broke or what happened to cause the nose to rise up."

There is info at the Phoenix site about links to helping. No info on arrangments yet.
I will try an post when I hear about the dates for the funeral.

Mark was doing what he did, tow us up. He will truly be missed.

We had some great times towing up with Mark Knight. His passion for flying was infectious. He will be missed by many. My regards to his family.

A group of us are planning on attending his service on Sunday. There is a link to his obituary on his facebook page regarding the details.
