Looked like a nice day. Blew out of work early, drove to Brace mountain. Launched at 3:45 and flew for 2hrs 35min. Still wings dotting the sky in the glassoff at 7pm when I drove away. First flight for me since I left AZ.

It was mostly light scratching, but some great 400 up thermals. Almost sank out a few times and had some good saves- which always makes a flight seem a bit more rewarding. Then, after everyone else sank out, it turned ON. I was still in the air being a speck and hearing "ya' know, we all hate you right now" comments over the radio from the LZ.

Took a 50% collapse at 200ft over the hill. It wasn't typically turbulent, and I'm thinking that a better pilot would have been able to control and avoid that one. Wing recovered in less than 90 degree turn, but she did dive at the ground for a couple seconds burning off half of that 200ft.

I might add some photos later.

Nice Video Morey! Are you going to leave all that excessive greenery and come back to fly with us in August?

Pretty cool Morey. You did a excellent job with mixing in the stills. A couple of friends, a beautiful hill and a soaring flight.

Nice.
