This Weekend

Anyone planning to fly this weekend? Guido is in town, and I might fly given the right conditions. The weather predictions are...mixed; what a surprise.
Sunday is more convenient for me than Saturday. Even if I don't fly, I'm happy to drive for any baggers.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning for San Diego, so will miss flying this weekend. But I'll be back looking for a monsoon flight next weekend. Good luck with the forecast.

Mic has suggested an early morning run to either South Mountain or Oatman, as they are both drive-up sites.
Guido and I are toying with camping at the Craters Saturday night, flying there Sunday morning, and returning that afternoon.
Miller Canyon is still a possibility for Sunday morning, but none of us have a key, and the HG pilots appear to be AWOL.
So far, we have Guido, Andy, Mic, and me, but Mic is only in if it's Oatman or South Mountain.
We'll make a decision around noon Saturday.

Rumor has it the HG pilots will head to Miller on Sunday, so that's now our operative plan.

Just got off the phone with Guido and John Lowery.

I could use a Miller flight- I`ll go on Sunday. I don`t have a driver at this time ? We could use your truck for retrieve John.
How does that sound?

I could go either day ?

Good plan. Chances are good that I will not fly anyway, so I will likely be the driver. If I do fly, then, as you say, we'll use my truck for the retrieve. I'm tied up tomorrow, so Sunday is the only day that works for me.

That will put us in the LZ around 9:00, launching around 10:00. I think that's going to be a bit late for me, but if that time works for Guido and Andy, I'll just drive.
