Surprise, the forecasts were not particularly accurate. We had very light conditions with smooth cycles of about 5-8 mph from the NNW, about five minutes apart. While we had five pilots commit aviation, these sled rides were spread out over time as each one waited for a cycle to launch. Mike (visiting from Denver), then Andy, myself, Lew, and finally Scott all launched from the first knoll.

It was a beautiful day, and the north face of Mt. Wrighston was absolutely stunning with the fresh coat of snow.

Unfortunately, the windsock that JLo installed at the top succumbed to the high winds of the recent storm, leaving the pole standing empty.

As they used to say in the potato chip ad, "that's ok, we'll make more."

Nice video. Is the high definition a bear to edit on the computer?

Roscoe - Yes. It takes a super computer to edit video. The HD really bogs down the machine.
