Mustang, Friday(Oct. 29)?

Post by lewsmith » Thu Oct 28, 2010 8:28 pm

Is anyone interested in Mustang tomorrow (Friday, October 29)? The surface winds look OK. I hope the winds aloft prediction improves when the morning forecast arrives. In the morning I will decide whether I'm going to go to Mustang.
Right now, Saturday looks blown out. Sunday might work at Box - maybe benching up from the lower knoll. Anyway, the PG flying seasons (anything except the monsoon) are here - so let's go flying!

I'm not available for Friday, but I am interested in trying someplace over the weekend.

Let me know where you want to go and I will join you.

Unless someone can convince me that Mustang will work today or tomorrow (Friday or Saturday), I am going to delay my plans for flying Mustang until Sunday. [This morning's winds aloft forecast did not calm down as much as I hoped it would and the Elgin surface wind forecast now looks pretty S (and SE earlier). Saturday still looks blown out, but Sunday is beginning to look like a Mustang day.] Boy, am I glad I didn't pick a career as a weather forecaster!

Ha! Actually, it doesn't matter if they're right or wrong. People still believe those 7 day forecasts. They also believe that their personalities and future are defined by the relative position of some (not all) of the planets (but not the moon) at the moment of their birth.

Funny- I've always wanted to be a weatherman.
