Weekend weather - ugh

Basically, hot and honkin' southwest.
The long-range winds-aloft forecast at UCAR
http://www.rap.ucar.edu/weather/model/i ... ?model=gfs
indicates that with the jet right on top of us we can expect howling southwest (more or less) from Friday through Monday. It doesn't look any better for Prescott or Flagstaff.
It even looks likely to be blown out at the Whetstones on Saturday, with ADDS
http://aviationweather.gov/adds/winds/ predicting 25 knot SW winds at 6000'.
For myself, I'm looking at alternate forms of recreation for the Memorial Day weekend (damn).

John maybe there is hope for Monday. I will be in Sedona (hiking) and still have hope that Mingus could work....(at least for a sledride).

Monday looks flyable. Where do we go. I just want to fly someplace.
XC skies shows light and varible up to 13000ft and top of usable lift at 8800ft.
The base wind is out of the NW.
Looks like a good day to go to the Samamiego Ridge.
Let me know

I'm hoping for Mt. Lemmon as well. It would be great to have some HGs join us from the launch at the observatory while we're launching from the ridge.
