I gather that's Dead Horse Point. I knew a guy (Charlie) back in the early 90's that launched his hang glider there. He got a wing lifted by a thermal and stalled off of launch, and turned back into the cliff face. The thermal's vertical air held the wing up, as it sat suspended there, pointed into the cliff face, being held up by nothing but the wind.

The wind eventually died, glider began to fall, tossed his reserve and floated down to the base of the cliff- uninjured.

Pretty freaky. Sorry- no video. you'll just need to use your imagination.
