PG Instructor

Must be the weather. I've received several calls recently of folks in Tucson interested in PG lessons. Isn't there a USHPA instructor in the area? Perhaps in Sierra Vista? I seem to remember someone moving into the area a year or two ago that had their instructor rating.

Hi, Scott

It sounds like you're thinking of A.J. Frye, out of Bisbee, but he went north for the summer. I don't know when/if he'll be back.

The nearest active instructor I know of is in Phoenix, where there are a couple.

Sorry,
John

Yeah, you're probably thinking of A.J., but he's somewhat of a drifter. He drifts in and out and breaks various state XC records, LOL. But you got two commercial instructors in PHX, and I hear Dustin Pachura now has his instructor rating too, but I don't think he's taking students. I know of at least one other guy in Phoenix who will be getting his rating within the next year. I might move down in that area in the next couple years, and I might be an instructor by then as well. I'll just have to talk my girlfriend into it...
