Over-water tow session dates!!!

Post by azwyatt » Wed Feb 08, 2012 7:48 am

Sean Buckner and I are going to start doing over-water towing here soon. We've already had one successful over-water session in the fall just with close friends to test out how the rig works in my boat, now we're going to do it for real. We're looking at probably the weekend of the 3rd of March and a two or three-day session on the 17th-19th of March.

Wanna throw down? GET OVER WATER!
Wanna be ready for spring? GET OVER WATER!
How long have you been waiting for an opportunity to do over-water towing here in AZ? That's right.

Contact me at wyattlines at yahoo if you're interested in getting in a slot. Do it. Don't kid yourself, you know you want to.

Definitely interested in the second session.
March 3rd is our annual climb up "A" mountain for a big fundraising/community event. The aim is to hike up and represent the club and if the weather is favorable and qalifications met - we'll spare the knees and fly down.

Thanks for sharing that info

Nice--if I hadn't planned this already I'd definitely be participating.

I'm gonna send you a PM. If anyone else would like to lock in a slot, email me at the address provided. Slots won't be locked in until we talk.

We'll be doing a few of these sessions throughout the year. If these dates don't work for anyone, contact me with some dates that would work for you and we'll see if we can swing it. We don't have any qualms about doing a tow session with just 3 people.

We'll provide life jackets and a waterproof family-band radio if you choose to use it. You are encouraged to bring your own bridle, as it will speed up the process and give everyone more tows. Pilots don't need to be ST rated, but must have good ground handling skills.
