Hey John, just wanted to mention that I wouldn't make it to the metting tomorrow night - got a hot date!

Just and update on the "A" mtn hike. Logo was submitted in time. I'm chatting with a girl named Nadine who is doing much of the event coordination this year. She knows we're interested and have the municipal permission. She wants us to stage our stuff up top in a secure place the night before.

If that's the case, I'm thinking of organizing a meeting the day before, where we can iron out the details, get a solid look at the weather, and shuttle our stuff up to the top.

I'll also continue to update folks through the forum about any new info/details I get.

We normally stage our gear that morning. That`s how we have been allowed to do it for many years. I know I dont want to leave my stuff over night. I don`t take my gear unless it looks good for flying.
I can speak with her if you like or feel free to call.
The Ham radio club usually does the security an bus trip coordination, the road is closed after the hike begins buses only,we can meet with them early.

Thanks

Eric

Thanks for mentioning that Eric. I'm a bit put off by leaving thousands of dollars worth of gear there overnight as well.

I'll pass that info onto the Hike Coordinator and get back to you.
