Is anyone interested in flying a task on Monday? Mt. Lemmon might work, but right now Mingus looks a bit better. Mingus is a long haul for one day from Tucson, but if there's enough interest, some of us might be persuaded.

Since the forecast for the day looked less than stellar and we didn't have a dedicated retrieve driver, Andy and I set a local task taking us to Samaniego Peak, back to the house thermal at Samaniego Ridge, then onward to Sutherland Ridge and Catalina State park, with goal at the school yard by my house.
The winds on launch were too southerly for a long time. Eventually I found something to launch into, but it was another 40 minutes before Andy got into the air.
The winds aloft were pretty light, making the out and back N-S leg of the task pretty easy, but I still managed to inject some challenge by getting low before tagging Samaniego Peak. After nearly getting sucked into the vortex of Charlou Gap I managed to climb back up to about 9500, tag the waypoint and head back to the house thermal, arriving there about the time Andy launched.
Topping out around 9500 at the house thermal and figuring Andy would have no trouble catching me, I pushed on to Sutherland Ridge which proved to be easier than I thought with really buoyant air along the way. Pushing away from the mountain toward the entrance of Catalina State Park proved to be much more challenging.
My first attempt got me perhaps within a mile before I got really low and started hunting a place to land. A thermal took me back up to 7K or so, but it also took me back to the foothills where Andy and I met, shared a thermal, and then parted ways as he headed south and up along the mountain, while I tried yet another line back into the park.
My second line proved less productive than the first one, and I landed in the wash about 1.4 miles short of the next waypoint. Andy eventually landed at the entrance to Catalina State Park, tagging one more waypoint than I did.
The scores and track logs for our first two tasks along with the running total thus far are posted on https://sites.google.com/site/sazxcleague/home.
We hope others will join us for the next task, scheduled for this coming weekend.
