PPG on the Northwest side.

Hello. I just got a new PPG motor and would like to fly in the region. Primarily in the Oro Valley/Marana area. I have had training and I'm not "teaching myself", I just haven't flown around here and would appreciate if someone could show me around a bit. I know this is a PG/Hang club and I want to freefly as well, I just want to start with the motor for a bit. I haven't been able to find anything about the Tucson PPG group that used to be active here. If anyone can point me in the right direction I sure would appreciate it! Thank you for your time.

Hi, Stu

I think the nearest organized PPG group is AZPPG. Their message board is at http://www.azppg.com/bb/index.cgi. I have seen PPG pilots flying around here, so AZPPG may be able to hook you up with a closer group.

Good luck,

Thank you for the reply John. I will check with Mo as you suggested. Hopefully I will get some freeflying in soon as well. I'm tired of walking and looking up...lol. Take care!
