Last week we ran our first task of the year with five pilots competing in a simple race-to-goal task of 56.4 km. The plan was to fly north to Sonoita then northeast to St. David. The day turned out to be a bit more challenging than we predicted, with only two pilots emerging from the rather large 10 km start cylinder.
