May Meeting Agenda

Post by John Wolfe » Wed Apr 23, 2014 1:32 pm

The agenda for the upcoming meeting is below. The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 1st, at 7:00 p.m. at Pizza Hut at 2943 N. Campbell Ave.

Please provide input on the agenda. Have a look at http://sahga.com/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2669 and post here if you want to cover one of the topics listed there during the May meeting. For example, it might make sense to discuss personal locator beacons during the May meeting. Feel free to suggest other topics as well.

Last month we had planned to cover airspace restrictions in addition to XC task flying and GPS devices. We didn't get to the airspace discussion, and it wasn't clear to me whether there was much interest in it. Please let me know whether you want to have this discussion during the May meeting.

I will be prepared to provide further help with GPS devices after the meeting ends, so bring your devices if you want help.

Repairs to Miller Canyon road from gate to launch. Is there funds for this work? Do we pass the hat or blow it off all together?

Rafael, thanks for reminding us of the road maintenance issue. Please provide us with an estimate for the costs associated with the work so that we can discuss it during the May meeting and decide how to fund it.
