Dang. Wish I'd seen this last night. Were you guys able to get launched?

I launched around 1130. Soared for 1.5 hours. The east wind was still apparent around the junkyard past the lz. The other pilots John an Mike said it picked up on launch. They broke down. It was blowing in nicely when they drove down. Shoot!
I landed when they were half way down an was finished packing up shortly after they arrived in the lz.
Look very easterly in Sierra Vistas.
Seemed launchable much latter in the day then predicted.

The road to launch had several trees in the way, with Whitney an Mike an Johns help we moved them . Threw a few large rocks out of the way. The switch back above the waste rock pile is coming apart an needs work. The rest of the road is just a little worst than last fall. The launch ramp is good, the major work we did, ( Raf an Debbie, Dave,an I). several years ago has held up. It could use some fines.

Thanks too my wire crew , Whitney , John an Mike,as it was gusty on launch an they were the only reason I was able to launch.
