SAHGA is postponing the our Miller Canyon fly-in due to deteriorating weather. The new date is to be determined, but at least two weeks later due to the Dixon White memorial at the Craters next weekend.
The direction and velocity of the winds aloft forecast at launch altitude and a large and increasing chance of rain in that area have led us to conclude that the chances of a safe and successful fly-in this weekend are poor.
Our apologies for the inconvenience caused by this postponement. We will make the new date public as soon as it's decided.

We need to agree on a new date for the fly-in.
October 4-5 is the Dixon White event at the Craters.
October 11-12 is the Columbus Day event at Dry Canyon near Alamogordo, NM.
I propose we use October 18-19 for the Miller Canyon Fly-in.
Please post your preferences here and be prepared to make a decision during Thursday's club meeting.
