Box looks good for Monday. Anyone interested? If we can get a 4x4 I'm going to try to get a driver.

Good flight today. I was in the air for about 1.5 hours and froze my butt off.

I hiked to the first knoll and found the wind blowing west at 5-7 mph. I thought it was too weak to allow me to bench up and more importantly it was too cross, 90 degree (coming in straight West). It was predicted to switch N at 4 PM (in an hour) so I decided to go to the top.

On my way up I noticed the wind coming in mostly from the West with prety strong gusts (14 mph). Some crows were circling up on the west side of the spine giving me hope.

I got to the top at 4 PM and I watched the wind for a while, straight up the launch at 9-12 MPH, but it was also coming up from the West side. I think the wind was coming in straight up the spine and the second knoll was splitting it up.

I launched at 4:30 after I sent Aaron my Delorme tracking info.
It was a quite bumpy on the back ridge and I didn't feel too comfortable. I went out in the valley and sunk below the second knoll. I scratched for 15-20 minutes barely keeping level. The glass-off turned on at about 5:00 PM and I was able to get up above launch and had quite an enjoyable sunset flight.
