It's looking a bit windy in this part of the state. However, the Phoenix outfit is rallying to fly South Mountain on Saturday, as the road has just reopened after a long closure to repair storm damage. I'd be happy to make the trip up there and join the grand-reopening party.
Or, we could tow in Eloy, assuming we can lure a winch and a tech out there.

Mic and I will depart his house around 9:00 a.m., park at the school on the south side of South Mountain and hike to the saddle. Be at my house by 8:30 a.m. or at I-10 and Tangerine by 9:15 if you want to join us.

We had a big turn-out of over a dozen pilots at South Mountain yesterday, and the conditions were amazingly good, producing some impressive flights.
