SAHGA & AZHGA forum logo/link

Great site and awesome club.

I've always said that the SAHGA club was much more fun than the AHGA, you guys have a lean on fun that we could not approach. Coming down to fly Miller Fly In was (hopefully is and will be) a highlight of past and future flying...

The history of your club is fantastic and I'm proud to know you guys are carrying the tradition on. The "windsock" instruction to me stands for more than just a windsock, I get it. Thanks for the reads and the look into the past...

Now, would it be applicable to see the SAHGA logo with link to this site at the AHGA site and vice versa?

I think so.

IMHO I would like to see more "cooperation" between the two clubs. I am sure there is cooperation behind the scene (isn't there?) on site issues and such but it would be good, I believe to see the logo's from each club on the respected forum with a respective link. It will be AWESOME when the NAHGA guys are online and then we will all be able to cover all basis. We should all be intra-dependant on each other for all things hang gliding in Arizona.

I don't know if the new guys in the club know me but I know the old guys do...

I would be willing to try to get the "web master" at the AHGA to put your logo/link on the forum there. It just seems to show strength and continuity and a little less about us vs. them.

If I get Gill to do this, would you guys do the same? Please?

Just some food for thought and I hope you see this as I do.

I still crack up after all these years about a ever growing fuzzy story about, ahh, I think it was Jacque putting defective smoke bomb back in his harness and it going off. I forget the story but I really got a laugh about hearing it back then, Jason, Mark, all you guys are the best.

I just got in a flight after 8 years of turning my back on the sky. I am so stoked on hang gliding, it's such a cool thing...

Sure, why not?

Yeah, I think we could do that. I'll take a little php programming, but I'll look into it.

Great idea. Thanks, Adam.

Click HERE for a link to the AHGA forum thread on logo/link exchange.

Ok, I've proposed it to Gill, hopefully we can get this up and running. It will serve both clubs well having both databases available for club and site specific topics.

All set. There is a now link at the top of each page to the AHGA message board.

I assume you meant to link to the message board and not the main web site, but let me know and I can change it to the main web site if you and Gill would prefer.

Your assumption is correct, exactly as I thought and you did a great job with the graphic.

RE AHGA: Apparently Gill has put it on his to do list.

RE ME: I am nothing more than a moderator at the AHGA site and a "mover and shaker" in that community. Our numbers have slipped since I was flying last and (with my opinion) I will do everything that I can to prevent this attrition including pointing out who and what is wrong to those who are still around. Paragliding is hang gliding and I am happy to see that your club, the #1 chapter in the USHGA is embracing this influx of new pilots into our established sport and community.

I reminded Gill Couto about the logo/link at the AHGA web site. He informed me that "I was doing this" in my "signature" and the site was being moved and that he was going to make a list of other sites to add.

If the logo/link does not get added as I have suggested, please accept my apologies in trying to get this to occur. I think what you have done is great.

On any account, your action and my intent is clear...
