Eric and I are meeting at his house at 6:45 AM for a Miller run, he has a student that will need to fly in early, smooth conditions. We'll be leaving his place at 7 AM, should be in the LZ by 8:30.
If anyone else is planning on going out, I can be reached on the cell at (520) 444 8105, and we'll be monitoring 151.925.

Miller Sat.
We had a good flying/training day Sat. Dave Plank launched first in my 195 Falcon. His first flight from Miller. I followed in the 225 and observed him flying out to the LZ. He did encounter some lift and performed several linked 90 degree turns over the east face of the hill side west of the lz. I soared aboved and encourged him. He had an uneventful landing in the lz, which was fine by me.
I was able to soar for 20 minutes and land next to him.
John launched and soared in the canyon. He lost some altitude and headed out to the lz. Once there he soared back up to take off height over the lz. The spectators in the lz were impressed with his no step landing.
We avoided the rain and the lighting for a good day of monsoon flying.
