Flying Report

Post by Eric » Sun Jan 23, 2005 10:01 pm

The weather service`s 48 hour forecast was pretty close.
Jason,Chuck, Mark and I flew the A today.
I launched first at 1235 in south east winds of 15 to 18. Jason,Chuck and Mark scrambled to assemble. I soared in thermals of 650fpm! leaving them at the castle, a thousand feet over! All good things must end my flight was no different, under an hour.
Jason launched next and was up quite a while soaring the point. The thermals were gone, but he hung in there for 40 minutes.
Mark launched in light conditions and quickly flew to the lz.
Chuck got a good launch and landing as conditions were waining.
Big fun fore January!
