Superbowl flyday

It's time for the annual Super bowl flyday. Looks like a nice SW wind forecast and you could still make it home for the second half of the game. Any takers?

Here is the game plan. It sounds like a strong SW wind but Gunter and I will look at the forecast and realcast in the morning. If it looks good then we plan on being to the Box Canyon LZ at 1100 and be back down by 4pm. You can have your cake and eat it too.

Ok here's the plan. Be at Box canyon LZ at 1100. Hike to lower launch and get ready for high wind launch. Beginners not encouraged, slow wings not at all.

After talking with Ross again shortly before 10 am. it seems that the valley winds are much stronger than forecasted. So we are NOT going to fly at box. But this may be a great day for the HG's. Gunter
