Sunday 2/27 Flying

As of Sat. morning forecast, Sunday could be a good day at Box. Winds out of WSW at 6/7 mph in Green Valley. Tentatively I would plan to be in LZ at 11am and at lower launch by noon. Could be a good day. Call me 520-906-0182. Gunter

Sunday a.m. follw up. Still looks good. Would suggest flying earlier than later because it will get slightly stronger later. I'll be in the Lz 10:45, up at the lower launch by 11:45, then be in the air between 12:15 and 1pm. Winds at 1pm at the lower launch are projected to be at around 8 mph out of the West. Hope to see everyone there. Gunter

The forecast is looking good for Box this afternoon. Conditions may be too strong for P2's midday but there is a good possibility of a glass-off. I'll probably be out about noon, and Scott said he would be out a couple of hours later looking for a late afternoon / evening glass-off flight.

Scott and Ross are departing Tucson at 2 PM, headed for Box.
