Complete Paragliding Package for small pilot - $995 / $1275

Post by Allan » Sat Oct 14, 2006 10:08 am

I'm giving up paragliding for now and want to sell my gear. I'm offering my PG, harness, reserve, and helmet together as a package for just $995. For an additional $280 I will include vario and radio. I have been very happy with the equipment and wouldn't want to sell it if I were still paragliding.

I have a Nova X-Ray, extra small in great condition. It is light blue and has very low airtime. Scott Horton sold it to me and estimated it had about 10 hours on it then. I have put between 10 and 15 hours on it myself. It is technically a DHV2 but a very docile one; it was the first and only PG I owned.

The harness is a black SupAir Evo Small, also in great condition, with a small front-mounted reserve. I bought it new 2 years ago and have used it for less than 20 flights. I find it quite comfortable.

The helmet is a blue Charly Insider XL-62 (I have a big head...), also in great condition.

I also have a vario (Brauniger AV Pilot) and a radio (Vertex VX-150, modified) which I could add to the package for an additional $280 (but I'm not wanting to sell them separately before selling the rest of my gear).

Any questions, just call me at 520-604-0209.

The season is upon us for good PGing glassoffs. Are you sure that you don't want to come out with us Allan?

Hi Morey! At this point I'm only interested in flying Mustang (in a glass-off); if someone's going out there I can meet there just about any day. (Call me at 520-604-0209) But I'd rather sell my gear while I can, rather than put it in storage before I move to Hawaii.

There's lots of flying out in Hawaii.

Aloha everyone,

I am on the Big Island, not Oahu where there are more sites. In any case I need to focus my attention on other things these days. My gear is still for sale and will be available when I return to Tucson in April. It is in storage there.
