Re: Rosemont Copper update
That's a pretty scary report. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service acknowledged that the mine will cause significant adverse impacts on many of the species. The new report acknowledges that the mine’s lowering of the water table to create the open pit could or would dry up a stretch of Empire Gulch, a key...

Great HG/PG Vehicle for Sale-Subaru Tribeca
I hate to let her go, but the new car came in. Great flying vehicle. Tons of room. Rack. Good mileage and surprisingly good off road. 2007. Subaru Tribeca. 88Kmi. Silver. Really clean, loaded and everything works. No maintenance problems or issues. A good selection of images here: http://tucson.crai...

Re: Old Pueblo 50 Mile Santa Rita Trail Run
Thanks for being out there Scott. Good to see you at 40. Sorry I couldn't partake in the hummus! I was probably hyponatremia (hydration good, electrolytes low), which makes one lose their appetite. After I got my salt intake up, my stomach started feeling a bit better and was able to eat more at 46....

Re: Old Pueblo 50 Mile Santa Rita Trail Run
Weather is looking PERFECT for this weekend's race. Yay! I should be running by the Box Canyon LZ, (22 miles in) oh, maybe 10:15am or so. It would be cool to see someone out kiting, but I realize, it will be a little early. the full route looks something like this: http://www.gpsies.com/map.do?fileI...

Re: Old Pueblo 50 Mile Santa Rita Trail Run
My training was going well, but overdid it and now I've got a bum knee. Haven't got in the miles necessary. We'll see if I make it to the starting line on March 7th. Hope I see you at Aid Station 40. It's been known to be the best aid station! In the past they've cooked bacon there (I realize, not t...

OK- that's a pretty cool site. I've uploaded a few of my runs into it. Fun stuff if anyone wants to know what I've been doing with my time instead of flying. Flew there years ago. What a wonderful place for relaxation, flying, landing on the beach. Totally stress free.
