Flying sat
I went out to Box in the afternoon. Allen was kind enough to drive. The overcast came in around 430 and everything quieted down to 6 to 8 mph. It was still soarable! I ended up flying over the back in a nice thermal and soaring some small one`s over the meadow. Very smooth air ! I packed up and was ...

Mt. Lemon Flight report Friday 11 June 2004
Friday afternoon Ken and I drove up the Lemon. I brought the brush saw and we trimmed some bushes. The launch conditions were ssw 3 to 8 mph. It looked like we would get a lot of trimming done! Late afternoon cycles seemed to come up the ramp at 4 to 6 mph from the w. I set up the Fusion tout sweet ...

Box Sat Hg report
That was a lot of fun, thanks John. I was surpised to be able to use so much of the mountains. At one point I climbed out to 8000 half way to Helvetia. Gliding back to the Pg peak took most of my gain. I even checked out the spine to the north towards the Burrels. You seemed to be hanging in staying...

Mt. Lemon flight report
We arrived at the launch area in the late afternoon. The road is still being worked on above windy vista, we encountered only a 10 minute delay. This section is one lane and is not paved for 4 miles. Pov agreed to go along and help out. I wanted to cut the brush from the launch area, and maybe fly. ...

Whetstones Flight report
We drove out to the Whetstones after working on the training hill. Jason and Sherry and Chuck and I. Conditions looked good at the LZ, 10 to 12 SW. We hiked our gear up, it took awhile! Nice workout, from what I remember. I launched into 12 to 15 WSW, the climb out was steady to 500 over, then the w...
