We will be going to the Sonotia valley on Sat. All are welcome. A flight from the moutains seems in order as well.
We may train in the morning and fly the mountains in the afternoon.
Call for details or I will post as the weeks weather unfolds.

Training Sat.
We intend to travel to the training hill on Sat morning.
I expect it will be Antelope Hills.
Schedule, leave my place at 0730, arrive at Antelope Hills at 0830. Train until noon, eat in Sonotia and drive to Box for an afternoon flight.

Miller Canyon
Forest service informed me that the repairs to Carr Canyon road are progressing well. Barring new erosion damage the road will be open,15 Feb, 2005.

Carr Canyon road
I spoke with the ranger at the Sierra Vista ranger district office. The rains did their job, melting the ice. New problem,several areas have debris on the roadway. The equipment is in route to remove the boulders from the road way. The road may be open this weekend I will keep you advised.

The weather service`s 48 hour forecast was pretty close. Jason,Chuck, Mark and I flew the A today. I launched first at 1235 in south east winds of 15 to 18.
